I'd like some tech advice :P

So, since my previous earbroke (wow I actually wrote earbroke) uuhh, earphones were found in half a week ago, I want to order new ones today.
Thing is, I'm not entirely sure whether I should just buy the same ones, Apple Earpods, Sony MDR-EX650, or Sennheiser CX-400-ii

Do any of you have experience with these products? Especially the Sony and Sennheiser? Or some advice perhaps on which ones not to buy.
I did read some reviews and currently I'm on the verge of buying the Sony ones.

While I don't think I've ever used these specific models, my overall experience with lower-end Apple, Sony, and Sennheiser earbuds has been less than stellar. The EarPods in particular are horribly mediocre, and certainly not in the same league as the other ones you mentioned. (The higher-end ones would be, though.)

The best pair of in-ear headphones I've had was probably the Klipsch S4, so I'd probably get the higher-end versions of it, the X7, as it's currently available on Amazon for $60. Their EQ is a bit on the harsh side, but I think you'll be happy with them.

Mmm, the Klipsch are a bit out of my prize zone, since they aren't locally available and I'd have to import them. Also, I'm a bit reluctant, since I don't know the brand Klipsch to be completely fair.

Ah, damn. If that's the case, I've heard the Shure SE series and B&W C5s are pretty good, but I haven't tried them out personally. Out of the ones you've mentioned, though, the Sony ones seem to be the best, though the other Apple model (the ear canal one) might be a more solid option.

Well, brand loyalty is something that often prevents you from getting the best product rather than actually serving any constructive purpose. ;) Klipsch is known to be a pretty solid brand, though, so you're good regardless.

haha, the B&Ws are even priced worse and the Shures are currently unavailable or out of my price league, to be honest.
I do appreciate your comments though, at least I know which not to buy haha

Just for note, I added a section to my post which included what looked like the best of the ones you mentioned, as well as the premium Apple model which is the same price and almost certainly available.

I have Sennheiser MX365s and they're the loveliest little earphones I've had so far. Great audio spectrum, nice bass for how small they are and good response. They're a nice bronzish gold colour too, which is a neat touch.

Okay, after some careful deliberation I've decided to get the Sonys. I will keep your other suggestions in mind though, in case I have the need (and the funds) for more expensive earplugs :)

With audio I'm never too afraid of making a somewhat large investment. If the stuff's higher quality, it's gonna bring me more joy every time I use it and also it'll probably last me longer to boot.

But it's a hard world - if you're not careful, you can jump from 'cheapskate and affordable' to 'excellent but as expensive as a house'.

Yes, certainly. On the other hand, I don't think I should even get extremely high end earplugs. I've got my Sennheiser Headphones for that, these earplugs are just meant for whenever I leave the house :)
