It's because the second statement is false. Cheating girlfriends obviously deserve a good beating, and though I know a lot of men are afraid to contribute to their education in that way because of the unjustified risks they expose themselves to if they get sued, there fortunately is a good solution: you need to hit her repeatedly in the stomach, so that you don't leave marks that could be used against you in misandristic courts.

Though the threat of an even worse beating is usually enough to prevent them from telling anyone. :D

This would also work if she's pregnant, so she doesn't try to get you to pay for child support. :D

Regarding the dog incident, I don't find it shocking at all and I think it's probably much better than actually hitting it.

As for kids, I agree with anaphasiia's point that the punishment should not be the way for kids to learn, but unfortunately it's sometimes required. When a kid misbehaves, the first thing to do is not to hit them but to tell them off and explain why they shouldn't act they way they did. But just like everyone, almost all kids will do things that they're well aware are immoral or problematic which is why a good smack is often needed if they persist. It's the same reason we have jails, else why would be bother obeying the law?
 
I'm not racist. But I gotta say, if those damn yellow chinks open their eyes a little wider, then maybe they'd be better drivers. I'm just sayin'.
