Well, yeah, they are called "fujoshis" (meaning rotting girl in japanese). And i don't know if they are a minority or majority.. But you can encounter a lot of them on the internet, that's for sure.
There's this manhwa called "Killing Stalking". I don't know much about the plot, but i know the main premise is like this psychopath torturing a guy. The author literally has stated countless times that it's not a boys love manhwa, and instead a psychological horror, yet fujos believe the opposite..

Man, I find it so annoying whenever people get pleasure from this stuff. Like, it was written to be psychologically messed up, not to have some hot guy to Stan over

Like i've said, i dont mind women reading Yoai. Im a guy and often engage with lesbian media to support queer women.

HOWEVER, it's a problem when you start being really weird about it.

Like.. Media made by members of the LGBT community, but also has LGBT characters in them

and there isnt any? I dont mind! I understand that not every show can have LGBT chars, but thats where fanfics are for huh?
 
I do like LGBT represented in media, but what I dislike is when they start to make older pieces of media more “diverse” in this way
