I should be able to get online at PC when ever I am away from home. I can access internet on my laptop or Dad's or mom's laptop from my cell phone almost anywhere, on the road or at my grandma's. Only problem is... 1.) I need to get Windows XP on my laptop, or I just need to buy a new laptop.

How fast is it?

230 or 260KBPS from what Windows says. Better then dial-up. The phone calls out and then connects like dial-up, but still is better.
