Yeah, I'm having a hard time finding it myself, actually. Jungledyret Hugo seems to get the most results.

Fun little comparison I found between two different versions:
English version is somewhat noisier, while the original has saxophone music and a villain with a weird voice.

Yeah, the english versions tend to have a lot of extra noise and exxagerated voicing in films that are foreign, as far as I can tell. The second english dubbing of The Magic Voyage is cluttered with obnoxious sounds and ad-libbing (and horrible singing haha). All this is not nearly as abundant in the dutch dub. I'm not sure about the german one since I never got the chance to see it, but I'm pretty sure it's better than the others since it's the original. But I can't say for sure, not until I see it.

Ew, I've noticed that to be the case in a lot of movies that aren't natively English. The voice acting is pretty good, but it's so exaggerated with all this extra crap thrown in. Do they think "Americans" like that? :boon:

The Magic Voyage, like Spanex said, is no exception.

Hey Spanex, the Nostalgia Critic even complained like mad about how noisy the English dub of The Magic Voyage was, but he did note that it was the fault of the English dubbers.

Yes, he did. What does that have to do with me though?

Nothing, I'm just teasing you, because you hate his guts so much.

So, back to topic (pun intended), does anyone know if Help! I'm a Fish has the same case of exxagerenglishdubitis? :P

Still doesn't beat Eric Idle playing the villain Martin in the abomination known as The Secret of NIMH 2.

By that, I mean he was the only good part of the movie.

Heck, the first NIMH never even made sense to me. Since at what point was magic ever involved? And for what reason did the red amulet decide to help the mother save her children? And how does this amulet even work into the plot of a secret organization turning rats into intelligent furries?

Not that I despise that film, don't get me wrong. But the plot, it make zero sense!
