Pizza

Recently I tried basil pesto as a topping on pizza. Tasted great, might try this with some of my usual toppings next time. :)
 
I was thinking about pizza recently. All of the main chains here, I find their pizzas disgusting or "mid" at best. Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Papa John's etc.

But I have a memory of a delicious delivery pizza when I was a child. It left a deep impression on me because the delivery guy came on a motorcycle and I'd never seen or heard anything like it before. The pizza itself was probably a first experience, too, and I'm contemplating whether my memory is elevating its deliciousness, or whether it was just better quality. I'm tempted to say the latter.

Recently I ordered a delivery pizza that tasted like greasy, spongey cardboard. As if to make up for this, it was powdered with an abundance of some cheap herbal spice, so much that it flew everywhere upon opening the box lid. I wrote a scathing review, because the tub of magnum ice cream (Sunflower something or other) totally outshined it. This ice cream tasted like it was made by Greek gods, I highly recommend it. Anyway, if any of you pizza connoisseurs can hook me up with some good pizza, let me know.
