No!
The PC versions was waasaaaaaaaaaay better in both music and gameplay terms

I haven't played those versions but I'm quite sure at least PC version has different sound than GBA.

I tried to play Rayman Advance and had to stop because its messed-up music was too annoying!

I was talking about the sound effect of the Ting, not which version is better. The DSi would be the perfect version for me.

Which is technologically wrong.

Unless of course he means that that the GBC version of Rayman is better then the GBA one, and if so, I can see where his older brother is coming from. GBA Rayman was a slightly crude port of the first game, while the GBC one is a completely new and original game using ideas from the first. I think I know what one would be more interesting to experience!

These are dangerous words to utter here my friend...
Lol no everyone has their own opinion of course.

I found the GBC version a really cool game to play. It's got great graphics, great gameplay, originality, well, I've said all of this previously. If anyone wants to read the review I gave back then, just give me a shout and I'll quote it right up.

How was it unplayable?
I loved it!
R1 is the best game ever (my opinion)!
Both the origional and the GBC versions were great!

Well I'm not sure how skilled you are in computer games - for the beginners and maybe even for the average gamer Rayman will be quite hard and cruel even.
Nontheless, you can't deny the music and the magic and the graphics and the feel add up to an excellent game. If you can, then something tells me we'll be trying to communicate on completely different wavelengths. :P

nah it's hard yes.. But that's one of the reasons why this game is so f*cking good: it's actually challanging.
Not like SMG (wich was still good but it was too easy for my taste)
