Hey guys, so I decided to start playing this game for ps1 any advices?
I just started playing and do I have to colect all the blue balls?
It's a bit confusing because there can be hidden stuff up because I don't know the correct direction :oops2:
I saw some races and I liked it  advices pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee
Those blue balls are called “Tings”. You don’t have to collect them all, but if you collect 100 of them, you’ll get an extra life.

There are “triggers” in levels. Some triggers reveal cages. You need all the cages to beat Mr. Dark.

1)Show the code.
2)If you are lying, please confess it. We are not going to do anything to you (well, at least me)
3)Don't lie again in the future.

Pretty much this.

Rayman 1 is an interesting game when it wants to be. It can be really fun, but it can instantly turn its back on you. I suggest getting as much TINGS as you can because you're going to need the lives. The cage locations are fucking atrocious for new players, so keep an eye out for them. And the number rule for playing Rayman 1 is to have fun.

Not really, just be alert or this fucking game will get you.

The cages are much more hidden on the PC version than the others, just so you know.

Thx to all for the help :)
What do you mean by triggers?
Do I need to return to some levels because I have no powers yet to get the cages?
I saw a place for codes, how do I get codes?
How does it turn my back on me? :mefiant:

Triggers = when you go across one, it will spawn an object (for example a cage or an enemy; you’ll hear a strange noise if that happens)

Yeah, you will have to repeat some levels when you get the powers required.

You can be having gay I'm day but until this fucking game decides to fucking cheat you with its level designs. You can be all howdy doodly happy but then when it's all fun and games, this game will say okay that's enough and just unleash unforgivable hazards to and fro.

You know like that.

You mean how it like takes away the floor from underneath you or starts lobbing flaming, exploding fireballs at your face when you're scurrying through a treacherous, spiked pathway while crawling and on 1 HP? Yeah, it'll do that.

The proper word is "gendoor"…

Triggers may also occasionally make things disappear, if I recall correctly.
…and this is a "kildoor". I don't think these were introduced until Rayman Junior, Designer, etc. though.

Hehe used some cheats :oops2: already seen the intire map and the game is not that hard if you have 99lifes :mryellow: , I think the guy with the gun is jihadist :hinhinhin:, please tell me the hardest level I wanna do it
