When Shroob brought his DSi to my place, since I always played it at night, I filled up his photo album with a bunch of beautiful black boxes.

Hey, yeah, I forgot about that. I didn't even hear the normally absurdly obnoxious sound of the camera when it takes pictures.

I'm sure they're vividly colorless with beauty.

Why didn't you avoid the checkpoints like a true speedrunner hipster?

Oh-ho! Tough guy! Much better than going:

"UGH LOOK AT ME GO SUPER DUPER FAST EGHHHHHH GOTTA POOST MY REKORD ON SNES LIVE, DERRRR"

Man, I be sick with the burns and the dissing, yo.

It's pretty nice, but I feel it lacks a sort of emblematic symbolism. Less tends to be more when it comes to these sort of icons:

The best way to celebrate Rayman's 20th Anniversary would really be the release of a Rayman 1 HD à la Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty. That would be perfect, but I'm 99% sure that this is an utopia.

Remi should talk with Ancel about that idea. I am sure if Ancel sees that there is fan demand for Rayman 1 HD remake that he will make it. Remi should of course be in charge for music if that project happens

Meh, I dunno. Rayman 1 HD would be cool, but I'd be more inclined either to something akin to the Generations route, or R1HD as part of a larger collection a la Kirby.

I don't think Remi cares about the game in the same way and I'm not sure why he would be the prime influencial factor for Ancel that would push him into the idea of making a R1 HD release. It was just a music job for the musician and he's proud of his music, I'm sure. I don't think R1 calls for a revival though - it's fine as it is. To be honest, I don't think R3 needed an HD rerelease either.

R3 really didn't have a reason to go HD, but Rayman 1 could benefit of a visual remake. Have you noticed that Rayman 1 rarely appeared in newer game packs?

I highly doubt that to be honest. In reality, there's only a few of us on here that actually care about an HD rerelease, and since it would more than likely sell nothing short of horribly among the rest of gamers, it wouldn't be a great business decision.

Though I do think a Legends DLC might be probable, as a load of people play that game and most likely be interested in a DLC, even if they had never played R1 before.
