Impressed to see the SNES prototype using the same collision system as the Jaguar version. I'm sure there are many more parallels to find!

why exactly was the main mcguffins of the game called ElecTOONS and ProTOONS
Well, they're cartoon characters, sort of, and the electoons gravitate around the protoon.

The gba music is just heavyly compressed ps1 music, right?
PC music, no? Like - single looping track for level, not individual segments. In fact, probably less, as the Wiki claims that certain tracks were downright removed.

Am I the only one that feels there was scientific inspiration behind the relationship between the Great Protoon and the Electoons?

I wonder if in the original SNES game the goal was to collect pieces of an "anti-virus" software so you could beat the virus.
And the various pieces of it form the equivelent of "The Great Protoon" that could defeat "Mr Dark".

Yeah several tracks seem to be removed. The remaining tracks seem to be of lower quality and some of them are also changed in pitch. I remember multiple people joked about the soundtrack being like earrape. :P

There are a few exclusive tracks too though. I don't think it's a compressed version, it's the raw MIDI for decoding by the GBA's (inferior) sequencer. Right?

There’s 2-3 tracks that are exclusive to Advance yeah.

This one in particular is totally exclusive to this version and there’s no other version of it

There's also this one that came from Advance, and honestly this is one of the songs I liked. I'm glad Ryemanni put this one in his game! :)

Oh, no worries, your English is fine, I just gave the wrong answer is all. :oops2:

Anyways, you can hear this song in the first phase of Mr. Stone's Peaks after helping the Musician make a new guitar from the large rock you destroy at the beginning.
