I thought I'd seen someone do it. :? This was years ago though, so I might have got mixed up. :oops2:

I wonder if it happens on PC or Saturn then :P

EDIT: I just tried it again on PS1 and he definitely flies too high to reach. On GBA it's about the smaller screen port again so he doesn't fly high enough and you can hit him again once the protection time runs out.

On PC it's definitely impossible too because he's so close to the top of the screen. I thought though that since the PS version had a taller viewport it was slightly easier to reach him. Guess I was wrong.

I found a video speaking of a rom of Rayman Advance for review only.
This is interesting because i don’t think that this rom was released to public.

I wonder if the rocket blows you up in that one. :P

Also, maybe that Moskito thing is possible in the Jaguar version due to the jump height. :o

OK so hitting the Moskito on the ground on PS1 actually is easy though I'd said before you couldn't do it. Literally just punching and ducking was hitting him for me but I'm not sure if you even need to duck.

I had actually though Rayman's fist would fly over the Moskito and you'd get hit :P

I don't think you need to duck. I remember years ago I just put up a normal video of myself doing the two Moskito fights on PC, and several people were shocked that I was able to punch him on the ground!

It's kind of cool that you can hit him on the ground actually and I don't think ducking makes a difference since the height of the fist isn't affected until it's returning now that I think of it :P

Indeed it does! I think I've done it myself actually, though unintentionally

Also in Rayman Advance, in the boss fight against the last combination of Mr. Dark's Dare, I don't technically have to wait for it to jump high for me to bounce and hit it, I can just jump and hit it sometimes.

I tried it on the second Moskito yesterday since the fights are really easy anyway and I had 5 health (it's not like I was losing one anyway) so I tried to punch him on the ground and it just worked

I'll do that from now on since it saves so much time :)

I always loved how he puts his hands out while moving fast, it looks so cool :P

He does a lot of things that look cool like the cartwheel too

It would be so cool if he could do the cartwheel in-game and not only in the Game Over screen when using a continue.

There was a prototype Rayman 1 where he could walk on his hands like a handstand. It looks so cool :hap:

I seen one of Haruka's videos of it, it looks cool. I kinda wish it was in the full game :hap:

OK so when I seen PlumGMK's post where he shared a Jaguar song I just realised I need to play the Jaguar version right through since I got it months ago.

I admit I wasn't going to buy the Jaguar version, I was just going to skip it due to the expense, but then Hoodcom talked me into it and told me he has it too

Also I'm over the moon with the OSSC (which he also recommended getting or else a Framemeister) and I think it's amazing :hap:

I spare no expense when it comes to Rayman because I love the game. I also plan to own every version that was released and think I'm doing OK since the Jaguar version is the most expensive one :P

I also got my Jag for buttons basically as it was untested and it works flawlessly. I just got extremely lucky. I set up my Jaguar with the OSSC on my 50" TV. Here we go :D
