Heh, I have Rayman Designer, but it doesn't seem to work anymore!
Damnation...
If only it could work again, I'd be happy to show you some of my home-made levels :)

I seriously don't get the Mapper D8 What do you press when you highlight an object and the like?

Open the Template, and also open one of your own maps. Now, go to the template and use click-and-drag to select whatever stuff you want. When it's got the white rectangle around it, press CTRL + C to copy it. Then go back to your own map and the copy of what you selected should appear when you move the arrow over the green stuff. Press CTRL + V to paste it.

When you're moving between the Template and your own map, make sure you click on your own map's window, not the body of the map itself, or the thing will be un-copied.

Also, press T in the Mapper to see the Types, which are self-explanatory.

To add enemies and platforms and junk, play the level by selecting it from Other Maps and press the E button to access Events Editor, and then hold down Right Click and press left, right, up and down to select whatever you want to add.

You're lucky you're getting this explained to you: I worked all this out myself Dx

Actually, you don't need to press CTRL + C to copy stuff. You can just click and drag around it, and that copies it automatically

I was wrong :mefiant:

There should have been an instruction manual :pfff:

Open the Mapper.

Click the "Open" icon in the top left corner of the Mapper.

Select a world.

Open some of the Examples.

When you find one that you want to base your map on, close it and then right click on it, and select "Add Map".

Then you can copy stuff out of the Template and into your map and do all sorts of stuff.

(If it doesn't let you save a map, try running the Mapper as an Administrator. Same for Rayman Gold and the Event Editor.)

There is a list with some templates with names like Example A, Example B and so on. You should right click on one of these names.

Yes. Double-click on Example A or Example B to take a look at it. When you find an Example that you want to base your map on, close it and right-clisk on its name and select "Add Map"...
