Oh, I used Opaquit/pok2's patch, but I updated some files to make it work better on Vista.

I still must keep trying with gerbil's solutions to see if I can really put this working on my XP.

Hmm I don't know Haruka. I can't seem to duplicate that error, but I can get the error when the install.bat is setup for the setup file in my dfend shortcut. Have you made sure that install.bat is the main game exe and not the setup? I just leave the setup shortcut blank.

Other than that I don't know. Rayman's PC setup has never been very versatile, even before emulation years later.

Gerbil, I already solved the problem, the game is now working fine again! One million of thank yous! For years I don't play the PC version of R1, I can replay it now! I will also try to do the same with the other games of Rayman Collector.

Awesome, glad to hear it! I think hopefully the other stuff on Collector is a lot easier to get working! The Mapper.exe seems to need that patch that's floating around though.

I configured the other games on the same way and they are also working fine (The emulator just needs to evolve to they really run 60 FPS). I think I will do my first level on Rayman Designer on this weekend.

My pc reads my Rayman designer iso as Rayman gold, i know that's a good thing but i can't run mapper!!

Well, it runs normally but when i click on a level group (forest, cave, mountain etc.) the screen just closes

I MANGED TO FIND AND BUY A RAYMAN GOLD CD!!
When I run the cd on Ubuntu I get some music tracks! Probably they don't copy when making a ISO of the game cd..
I wounder if there is a way to get both the music and the game into a iso. I don't want to outwear my cd..
