But passing those pencils is easy... just don't run.

And I think that Space Mama's Crater level is worst.

And the graphics are more smooth than the other versions.

PSX is also the best version in my opinion, and PC is next.
I think it's hard to say whether the Saturn version or the PC version is the second-best; I'd say they're fairly equal. Next comes the Jaguar version, then I suppose the GBA and GB versions.

The PSN version is almost identical to the PS1 version, but there would be a few differences: the music may be a lower bitrate (I'm not sure if this is the case or not), and it also loads much faster and has a digital manual, which is accessible in-game.

Speaking of the saturn version I'm gonna start a new game because I do NOT want to do Pencil Pentathlon more than once per game. At least in the Jag version there aren't any rows of pencils to jump over. Seriously that's the worst part of the game ever, worse than Space Mama's crater.
Pencil Pentathlon really isn't hard when you know what you're doing. All you have to do is stand on the top of the ink slope and hold down the 'Right' button. Rayman automatically sort of dodges his way through the rows of pencils. That's how it's meant to be beaten.

I think the worst part of the game is weaving through those drawing pins with the Super Helicopter.

Not it clear which version is better between the PS1 and Sega Saturn. Your opinions are very diverse. Some of the versions is superior in every respect? I have to buy the game today on ebay. I await your answers, thanks.

Just three caracters: P-S-X.

For me the really worst part is the one before the 2nd encounter with Space Mama, you need sharp reflexes on controlling Rayman.

I have never played the Saturn version, but you should buy the PlayStation one anyway. Its only downside is the lack of unique sceneries which were only added in the PC version.

Are you referring to the grassy Bongo Hills level and the giant tree-trunk-based Moskito's Nest level? Those were good.

And the PC version has got some different locations of the cages. The locations of the PC compared to the PSX, the PC version is harder than the PSX version.

Hey guys, I have a video which might have a reference in it to Rayman 1!

Once there, click on 'climate change'.

You can see Joe's sign!
That says "Eat @ Joe's". The original says "Eat at Joe's". Plus, there is the fact that this is red and the original is multicoloured. Also, this is a neon sign, while Joe's is a collection of flashing bulbs.

Like I said earlier on the wiki, Eat At Joe's [the level] is prolly named after some other 100 Eat At Joe's throughout the world and that's prolly what Eddsworld [aka unfunny] was referring to.

Yeah, and the last level of Space Mama's Crater looks better too.

I actually don't have much trouble with that level these days, you just gotta have such sharp reflexes.

What, the one that caused people to break their consoles?
Hah, you've read that walkthrough too?

I can't resist helicoptering over those beds of pins.
Tap X while you're helicoptering and you'll stop. Knowing this makes the entire game much easier.
