Seems it is a PAL vs NTSC version difference, as playing my PS1 version again showed that I had remembered wrong and that the drumstick was not in that version. Makes me wonder why they added/removed it though.

It's also possible that the Greatest Hits release (I have that one with drumsticks yay) had a different revision of the game than the original release did, but the NTSC/PAL difference is more likely.

Huh, that's some weird stuff going on there, could you provide any commentary or clarification on the specifics?

It's some maps I accessed by cheating that were on Jaguar prototype, most of them are in final version but heavily modified/slightly modified :mryellow:

I see, so the reason some maps look incredibly familiar is because they're development versions of the final maps.

I was wondering when you'd get around to posting those. :P

EDIT: For those wondering, the "2" under the lives counter isn't a prototype glitch, it's a result of using Cheat Engine to freeze the hitpoints counter at a value above 5.

haha, it took us time lol
also, yes, I did that because I was annoyed to die everytime :p

I can understand. I never figured out how to freeze the hitpoints myself though!

It's pretty easy, once you found the life address, the hitpoints is related with the life address, I personately put a value Type 4 Bytes then put 999 then freeze it to be invincible :p

Does anyone have this version of Rayman?

I have a yellow disc instead of white.

White disc is 2000 re-release I think.
It also shows PlayStation Logo on cover so this is definitely not 1995 version.
