Awesome. :)

Anyway, I was thinking, I find it peculiar how so much of the Rayman fandom adores Mr Dark and wants him to return, yet the rest of the Rayman 1 cast is mostly disregarded. I never really thought Mr Dark was that spectacular, to be honest.

Dark is pretty fantastic as a character, but the other bosses from R1 are equally well designed. It's just that air of mystery that makes Dark just that little tad better for people, maybe.

Eh. It's funny how, considering how biased towards and horribly obsessed with Rayman 1 I am, I don't quite see in Mr Dark what others tend to.

You like Rayman 1 a lot more than others, for all the reasons that you do - you see far more nice things in what we don't appreciate equally to you.

By the way, I don't know whether that has been mentioned yet, but is it possible that the "Rayman Forever"-Version of Rayman 1 is totally different from the original Rayman 1? Like how in the first level of the blue mountains, when you get chased by Mr.Stone, you will come to a part with spikes on the ground. In the original version, you've got to take a ting to make a cloud appear (otherwise you can't make the jump), while in the RF-Edition, that ting isn't there. I was stuck there for several days because - due to the missing ting - I had no idea what to do.

Isn't the ting only a different between the ps1 and pc versions?

My Record Day Review of Rayman 1:

If Rayman 1 was an animal, it'd be a chick because it goes "Cheap, cheap, cheap!" 6.5/10

I've just had a thought. What if the gift-box in the world map was for a removed minigame selection (that would have included Ray-Breakout)? Makes sense to me anyway...

I find it interesting to think that, if Rayman wasn't created as an adult and did have an infancy, he would've had a small nose as a baby. The only baby of the species ever shown is the Musician's child, in-game and in the credits. There was also that screenshot of Rayman on a rocking horse from French with Rayman that implied that he had a smaller nose when he was younger.

The only people who say this suck terribly at the game. :tssk:
And the only people who defend it are a bunch of dorks.
