This insults me as you would prefer people look up towards dictators rather than enjoying the entertainment from a well thought-out and original character. As an artist, this really hurts.

My problem is that 'Rayman' is a ploy created by large corporate companies designed to corrupt the minds of children with fan-fiction of which will never amount to anything in a particular persons life

Fanfictions are a first step into writing an original piece of work someday. Once again, as an artist, I find this insulting!

What is this you speak of? You are merely compreheding your education by spending your time on these types of bulletin boards, your parents pay taxation and charges to the goverment to help you benefit from free education yet you do not wish to take advantage of this and prefer to post nonsence and garbage on these forums? Young child, I have come to the place I expect specimens such as yourself are expected to be, brooding away your lives sitting in front of a virtual display rather than socialising with humans in the outside world, are you unable to control your addiction and forget about Rayman? He (or she, Rayman may possibly be bi-sexual but I will not question his sexual orientation) may be just a ploy to consume your lives and your parents disposable income.

Insulting my ability to control my fandom. And I bought my Rayman games with my own money except for one, which was a gift from my Dad a year ago.

I am trying to persuade you to fulfill your parents ambitions and rejoin reality, you should join tasks of your own orientation such as cleaning, ironing etc. Live life to the full.

At least I have dreams. Being a full housewife may be okay for some, but not for me.
 
Men should be the ones who have the dreams and go to fulfill them, you should sit at home and do the dishes, you will succeed and fulfill your expectations them. Cheerio!
