I would say the progression of time itself is fairly normal, but the beings that live in the Glade have an unlimited lifespan, and they don't age, because they are dreams. That would explain the exceptionally long time interval between Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends.

Also, Master, wouldn't the Game of the Gods (= Globox Disc) take place after they created time?

Concering the Robo-pirates coming from space, makes me wonder, what type of creatures can possibly come from the far reaches of space? Perhaps there are more worlds with living orgasms just like Rayman's world.
Since there are more gods than Polokus according to The Knowledge of the World.

Of all the inhabitants here, you are the only one whom Polokus did not dream. You are the only one to receive powers from the fairies. Some see you as the chosen one of all the gods. Who knows...?

I'd love to see a possible expansion on the universe of Rayman.

We already know the nature of Rayman's birth thanks to Origins, so that line no longer holds much meaning. Disregarding that, I do agree that it appears that the RayVerse could be far more varied than the Glade is.

Ubisoft should release a port of every Rayman game for each current gen console, but remake them, not just a straight on port a previous version, starting with the original and going up from there. I'd like to see Ubisoft make it look appealing to the next generation while keeping the old charm, take advantage of the power of these consoles and make the game bigger, better and show what Rayman can do. Maybe even add on to the story, make it more detailed and interesting to the buyers. Like, maybe showing the scene where Ly gets captured by the pirates and giving Globox the silver lum. If they do all this, the games could end up sweet.

It does not say that Lums didn't exist before they began to emanate from the center of the disc though. If you consider the Lums emanating as some sort of consequence of the creation of time, it makes perfect sense. Lums formed Polokus, Polokus created everything and then went on to create time with the other gods. Afterwards, Lums began to come out of the center of the disc-shaped Glade (the Heart of the World, most likely) and the gods fought over the Lums.

Perhaps there are more worlds with living orgasms just like Rayman's world.

Globox is so damn sexy, I bet when Rayman sees him he is indeed a living orgasm!

Hmm, I don't think Polokus has absolute power over the Glade, he does share a symbiotic link, no doubt. But I find it curious how he then decided to create Clark, who's stated to have carved the various mountains and other features of the Glade. I also find it interesting in how it doesn't make mention of him ever making any physical aspects of the Glade, merely inhabitants for it. (Looking it over, it seems that other material supports it, so ignore that. Still, I hold my belief in that Polokus' power in shaping the Glade is limited, he might have been able to create the Glade, but shaping it might have been another matter entirely).

Looking back at the Knowledge of the World, it doesn't say anything about Polokus creating the world. It says that he was created by the Lums, and that he created the creatures of the world before meeting with the other gods of the other worlds to create time. Clark was created to carve out the landscape, meaning that Polokus didn't create the landscape, or that he wasn't able to make it the way he wanted solo.

If the "emanations" are meant to represent the creation of the Lums, maybe Polokus wasn't one of the gods who fought at the dawn of time? Maybe he was born later, after the war between the older gods?

That's pretty much my thoughts in summation, that there are some Elder Gods who predate Polokus, and Polokus is only a God in relation to the Glade, not the entire universe.

Meh, seems my references to other video games always fall flat.

To clarify, even if it's off-topic, the reference is for Mass Effect, as the Reapers are the bad guys coming from out of the Milky Way (the abyss, or space between galaxies). I don't know if I should tell more about the relays and stuff, as it may be a spoiler for people who haven't played the game yet...

Also, Origin is the current online partner for the sells of Masse Effect games (ah...another joke probably going flat too).

I should learn more about the gods of the Rayverse, I'm not very well informed yet *goes to Raywiki...*

I like to think Polokus just dreamed up the Glade of Dreams and the other possible gods dreamed up the rest, and maybe even more of the universe.
The Valley doesn't really seem to be a place Polokus dreamed up, or maybe he has, The Knowledge of the World isn't so much 100% accurate.

A change occurred in the developers' conception of it – no explanation for the change exists within the fiction. If Polokus created the Glade of Dreams, he created the valley, because it's the same thing.

The Knowledge of the World clearly isn't meant to be some kind of unreliable narrator thing. It's presented as Rayman deriving information directly from an omniscient force that existed before the universe. The only room for error lies in the translation from the original French.

Kinda ticked off how they never exactly gave an explanation for this change, cause I'm dying to know honestly. Would be nice if they tried to put a story around it, why all the worlds are so wacky and why everyone is limbless, but they'll probably leave it in the dust.
