Would it be stupid for me to buy a used PlayStation 2 for the sole reason of getting to finally play the authentic Rayman Revolution? I've always considered it to be the best version of the game, and PS2 emulators don't work well on a MacBook...

AFAIK Revolution is only available for the PSN in North America...? I happen to live in Scandinavia, so that might cause a problem...

oh...yea than ps2 is the only way

Depends on the TV one has but the PS2 would really be the best option and at least the Component cables which would fit most modern TV's

I'd say it's less crazy than getting a Jaguar just to play Rayman 1. :P
But I got that untested cheap and it worked ;)

I can see where you're coming from though

Anyone know where the info about the Muse of the Poets (Polokus' wife) is? I read that it's only available via supplimentary material.

Uncovered two more Rayman 2 mysteries!

For the first one, this cheat can be triggered on the Dreamcast version by shooting exactly 28 times while hugging the door in the Precipice 3, while the pirate is still alive. Be careful, or the pirate will hook you and you'll die. Once activated, this message will show for 5 seconds and you will receive three golden fists + a full lifebar.

For the second one, I don't know how to trigger this without cheating yet, but if you manage to reach the secret area in Tomb of the Ancients 1 on dreamcast without hitting any of the three switches, a sound will play (the same as when activating other secrets on dreamcast) and this message will show up. No other bonuses though.
Interesting, i will wonder if this work in other versions ? I will try to add these Easter Eggs to the wiki.

I tried it on 3DS and it worked since it's a Dreamcast port. I can't test the second one because it's not possible to cross Tomb Of The Ancients without hitting the switches.

Use a cheat device or a hack and enable moon jump to bypass the water without hitting the switches.
