Well I was playing the PSN emulated version (PS3) and it has a slight input delay, which makes it a pain to control.
Oh, it does? Cause I was also playing the PSN version and it always felt so off whenever I jumped. The input delay would really explain that issue. I assume this is not a problem with the original version then? On PS1 or PS2?

I’m not experiencing any input lag in Rayman 1 on my real PSone with a CRT TV. ;)

Input lag is also terrible thing during using Sweetfx on PC, whenever you riding a shell.

ePSXe should be lag free.
And also should look better than native PS1 version on PS3. And it's not that bad to remind R2 a little in such a little different form here and there, during gameplay. It was even more fun for me than playing Revolution, after PC version.

Uhm, there's something I've been wondering for quite a while, how was the code for the Tomb of the ancients secret discovered? Was it discovered in a official strategic guide or something?

Thanks Master and Carrot-Master, I wonder how they discovered it, maybe a dev shared it on a site? I know that some devs do that so it might be that.

Yeah I've always wondered how that got on cheat sites. The sites I have refer to it as being in "Morb_20" which is the internal name for that part of Tomb of the Ancients, which suggests to me that someone reverse engineered it somehow.

Another question,

why can it only be accessed in the Dreamcast version? :confus:
It can be accessed in 3DS too. I might look into seeing whether there is a way to access it in other versions but it might not be possible.

The room is in all versions (not sure about the PS1 version, though it's in all other versions), though the crate which appears once you put in the code is only in the Dreamcast (and 3DS I guess) version. As the crate can't be seen underneath the level in any other version I doubt it can be accessed through any cheat code etc. And the text in the hallway leading up to the fence is only in the Dreamcast (and 3DS) version of the game.

I wonder if there's a secret in the second area as well, considering there's one in the first (the 1000th Lum) and third.

Actually the crate is in all versions, I remember for example seeing a video of the DS version in which the crate was underneath the floor, same for a video of the pc version.

Oh man the Rayometer. Fun times using that just to get wallpapers, back when I didn't know what zip files were. 8)

I'm thinking about getting the PC version of the game. Anything I should know before buying it?
Of Rayman 2? Well, no, not really. If you're getting the disc version there's this CD-missing issue on modern computers, though the GOG version fixed this. For the game itself it does only work with a controller if you download a patch (a .dll file). Nothing else really.

Does anyone still have the trailer where you can see rayman destroying the pirate on the pier in the sanctuary of water and ice with the ship in the background?
