Is Jano pronounced like Ya-noh or Jah-noh?
Well, i was just browsing the Russian forums, and they write his name like this : "Яно", which is pronounced like the first pronunciation.
But i always thought it was pronounced like the latter one. Man, English pronunciations are stupid So which one is it?

I reckon it's short for Michaël Janod's second name, in which case it would be /ʒaˈno/ (as in French) – but tbh in English I've always said /'d̠ʒaːno/ (cuz I'm Irish ). So, as you say, like "Jah-noh". But I don't think there's any right answer, since his name is never said aloud in any game

The weird thing is that sometimes there is music. Couldn't figure out a pattern, but, for instance, the "wrong temple" in TSOSAF has music, the shell riding segment in the same temple sometimes has music, and the same can be said about returning to the main level from this optional temple (at least in some cases it triggers the main level theme.

Yeah I’ve had this happen to me too, in the same location and in the SORAL. I’m curious if there’s some flag that triggers the music to play and when it plays the atmospheric vibes otherwise.

Interesting! I pronounce like that because it just sounds the most right, and a lot of names starting on J are pronounced like that.
And yeah, maybe i overthinked, his name is not said in any game

Sadly not, I’m playing it on PS3. Surprisingly it doesn’t look absolutely horrible on it, as that’s what usually happens to grainy games on emulation.
