I'm rather fond of the PAL PSX cover.

Also fuck, I've seen the NTSC PSX cover more times than I can count and I've never noticed the robot pirates in the background before arhrhgajnhsgn

OH LORD, I was JUST about to say this. I was just looking at the image five minutes ago thinking the exact same thing.

Ah right! :D The French ad for N64. I think it was the version that came up first. PS1 and DC came next.

This one is not only for N64 but for PC too (The voice says it in its last sentence).

I noticed that Donald Duck: Quack Attack used several sound effects from Rayman 2. Turns out the game was made with the same engine.

I remind someone posting a few years ago in this topic some screenshots that corresponded to the metal grids used in the prototype R2.

The exploding sound you hear when you smash a Powder Keg into something is the same as the Black & White II sound when your Creature kicks an enemy's walls in. I've heard the applause sound you hear when you enter a cheat (I think?) or when you finish the bonus race before too. I wonder how many of the sounds were taken from an open-source place - and more specifically - what that place is so I can nab some of them myself. :P

I don't think the use of open source audio is limited to Rayman 2, in Rayman 3 the sound that plays at the end of the first part of the Longest Shortcut, when the secret staircase to the next part is revealed, was also played in Revenge of the Sith.

okay i think i heard a beeping sound some were that sounded kinda like a noise a pokemon makes in one of the game correct me if i,m wrong :D

There are. I know that some of the sounds that are made when certain characters are hit are the same as the ones made when you shot a target in R3HH. I think Globox makes them the most, but I don't know for certain. I'd have to replay and pay super close attention to the SFX.

hello someone help me out here

I made a return to one of my old youtube videos (One of my very first ones) and made it somewhat better.
Improving both the video quality and adding surround sound to it.
In the beginning of the video of the video I was setting up the surround sound so please forgive the few pauses in the first few seconds in the beginning of the video.
Enjoy.
