Just wondering that would it be possible to complete the whole game in 3 hours and 30 minutes? I did it once in 3:34 and i think i can improve.

*Bump*

People were wondering if it was possible to get just the Glade of Dreams map. Here's your chance now:

I can also print that map on some pieces of paper and the sell it on ebay.

Did you skip cutscenes? I don't know the real time I can beat R2 but I would say approximately 4 hours.

How do you mean skipping them? If you mean i pressed some buttons until the game continued, then sure, but the timer went from the start ( when i started to control Rayman ) of the game until the end ( the moment i defeated Razorbeard ) without any pause. I was even trying not to lose many lives to prevent myself from losing time.

Ah, most impressive Rayrobi.
Speedrunning isn't my forte, but I admire those who are willing to go through such a strenuous exercise.

I've been continuing the recording of the Japanese Rayman Revolution, and for some reason, Grolem 13 just looks like Axel. It does not stick the tongue, but shows sharp teeth instead.

Hm, interesting, I look forward to seeing the footage, and by extension, the change myself.
Though I'm compelled to ask why such a change was necessary, is the act of sticking one's tongue out considered to be gravely rude to some?

I admit that from what I've seen so far, there are things that I really question the need of changing the textures. Clark for example, for some reason, his clothes are green instead of brown. His skin is slightly more orange than the original Clark. His eyes seem to be a little bigger. This was probably to give "cuteness" to the character, since the japanese have a thing for "kawai" content. Now if I think that Ly is cuter in the Japanese version... that's really questionable. I only understand the colour change for Rayman and Sssssam from what I've seen so far.

I don't recall in which culture, but in one of them, sticking out your tongue is the direct equivalent of 'fuck you;' it can't be interpreted as a playful remark, sort of like brushing your chin outward in Italian culture. I don't think it's Japanese though.

Reyumannu Revorushyonu is a weird game. I watch Haruka's gameplay sometimes and I just think "e".

After replaying the PS1 version of Rayman 2 from downloading it from the PSN store I strange many things.
#1 The walking shells starts walking right after you tame and get on it instead of lifting it's 2 front legs up and down.

#2 The gameplay is slightly different and you cannot use the zoom camera (the one where you can look all around you)

#3 It is harder to playO-O but at the same time it's easier... then N64 version. O_O

#4 The barel guy is less annoying on the Whale Bay and has a bigger appearence then on the other versions.

#5 anti toons O-O

That is a mere tidbit, there are greater differences to be seen, the most significant being changes to level designs and omissions.
Have you played through to the end, if not, where are you at the moment?
Also, please clarify, when you say "Barrel Guy" do you mean this:
Barrel_Pirate_PS1.jpg

Because they don't show up until the Whale Bay, as with the rest of the versions.

I can say I reached the credits roll today in the Japanese Rayman Revolution. I'll upload the next videos in the next nights, and it is missing to record the bonus videos before fully finish the walkthrough. Did you guys know that in the japanese Rayman Revolution, the salesman folder is green and the Grolgoth is half yellow and half black?

Yellow as in gold, like the original (PC) one, or yellow as in... yellow?
Interesting. I'd like to see this 'wasp Grolgoth'.
