Rayman 3 Readvanced

Thanks a lot everyone! :)

Is this going to be a Windows only project, or would this be playable on other platforms? Since you've got custom resolution support, I'd be interested to see how it'd run on a Steam Deck.

Currently it's only set up for Windows, but I'm making it with the goal of having Linux and Mac versions available at launch as well! Potentially Android too, but that would be more work.

EDIT: I did what a sensible person does and actually read the README. I see it's got official support for WIndows 7 upwards, however, when this does release, I'd be willing to try running it through Proton and see if it works there. In the meantime, as ever, Carrot, you inspire and amaze with your efforts, and congratulations on what is appearing to be yet another successful project!

Oh, now that's really neat! It's nice to see games made to still be compatible with older OSes like Win7, especially when we consider the rather negative(?) receptions that everything after 8 has gotten (i could be wrong though)

Rayman 3 Readvanced will have a trailer for the Rayman Alive event event, which is only 9 days away!

Likewise, I'm keen to give it a try as I've never been able to finish the original

Here's the all new gameplay trailer shown at Rayman Alive :)

A huge thanks to MilesTheCreator, Robin, AlexLimitedGames and XanderNT for help with the trailer! I hope you're all looking forward to seeing this release next year!

Nice work to everyone involved! I was impressed by the multiplayer footage and the 3D rendering of the Mode-7 levels looking practically perfect. The detail of the walls in the bumper kart level now having actual height adds a lot there.
The addition of the Popolopoï mode seems very interesting too. Overall, this looks like it'll be the definitive way to play R3 GBA. :)

I have no idea how I missed this until Rayman Alive. Absolutely brilliant stuff RayCarrot. You've given me what I've always wanted but never known it.

I was cool having news about this project during Rayman Alive! :D

Congrats for all this work, RayCarrot! I really enjoyed the original Rayman 3 GBA, I will definitely have a look on this PC version!

I really look forward to this, especially with the accessibility features (infinite lives and respawn) which are going to be very convenient for the casual gamer I've become. :P

Also, is that a hint that you're going to include content from the scrapped betas at the end? This I'm really excited about!

I had already heard about RayCarrot's project before and I'm definitely very excited to try it once it's released! Rayman 3 is still the best portable experience one can try on a Rayman game and I think it's both crazy and awesome to include the perks that the obscure N-Gage version has :D .
