Rayman 3

Exactly. Everyone has their opinion. No one is right and nobody is wrong. It's until someone say that their opinion is fact. That's where they're wrong.
 
Ok. Now you see guys that ordinary people outside your "club" used to basicly not accept other Raymans than 3D. That's that what I spoke about previously. It is more popular among connoisseurs, or just kids. Deservedly or not. It can be changed only by a good 3D Rayman, to let finally come back the series in the right direction.

But, yeah, strictly I'd like to convince my self to play these famous Origins, and then Legends.

Hi, as I can't fix framerate problems in pc version I've created a texture pak for gamecube version. Lots of textures come directly from PC version and a lot of new ones. It is now the best version in my opinion.

Maybe someone can add upscaled intros in the game too.

Nice! I have the textures for the HD version to hand, so would you mind if I were to create a texture pack using that? The only thing that was putting me off before was having to go through the game to dump the textures, but now that is done I think it would be nice to be able to use the R3HD textures in the GameCube version.

The textures look to be about double the resolution of those you included in your pack, and also much more plentiful (plus, you no longer need to modify the menu textures for Xbox 360 controls, as these are actually in-game). I will send you them in a PM.

Whoah now, while I am obviousky obsessed with the 3d games (especially Rayman 3) just because the new games are 2d it doesn't mean they're bad, I actually enjoyed Rayman Origins and Legends even if not as much as the 3d games, but they're still good games. :P

Just throw an Earthworm Jim or Castlevania Bloodlines cartridge in his face and he might change his mind about 2D games.
 
Has anyone here actually managed to unlock 2D Madness on GameCube? I know you are meant to attach a GBA with Rayman 3 in it, but I have tried that, and downloaded the bonus games to Rayman 3 GBA, as well as tried the Mad Trax minigame, but 2D Madness remains locked.

EDIT: Haruka's video seems to show that it should unlock. I wonder why it isn't for me...
 
Same with me, RibShark. It's just never worked. Luckily I can play it now thanks to Rayman 3 HD, but I'll always wonder.

2D Nightmare is the real mystery though.
 
Unlocking 2D NIghtmare is still a mystery. The level itself has been accessed via cheat code.
