Rayman 3

Well, I really don't know anything about Gamecubes so I won't be of much help here. You should always have a backup of your saves though, that has saved me from situations like these a lot of times.

Must try this out later. I always wanted to record the exclusive GC minigames to complete for real my R3HH walkthrough.

EDIT: I have issues to emulate the link itself. I guess I am doing something wrong.
 
Do you guys want me to post a tutorial video on how to connect VBA-M to Dolphin so that you guys know how to do stuff like unlock the 10 extra levels on GBA or playing mad trax? Seems like a lot of you are struggling to figure out how that works.

I'd really appreciate that! Especially the 10 bonus levels in R3 GBA since that's what I've been trying to get to complete my R3 GBA Walkthroughs. It'd be fun to try out the other mini-games as well, though that's the most important one for me.

Guys i just got a GBA línk cable (3rd-party) to use for my Rayman 3 on GameCube and it's working great! well atleast downloading the levels onto the GBA works and i can unlock 2D Madness but Mad Trax does not work. I tried going to the connect menu screen on my GBA and start up Mad Trax but it keep saying Connecting To Gameboy AdvanceTM...
And nothing was popping up on my Gameboy, it just said connect your Gba to gamecube etc etc.
Am i doing something wrong or is there something wrong with me having a 3rd party cable?
Oh and one thing to point out is that im using the 10th Anniversary release of Rayman 3 with Rayman advance.

Turn off your GBA, then turn it back on and as the Gameboy Advance logo animation plays press Start+Select, the Nintendo logo should disappear. Then connect it to your GameCube and load Mad Trax.
 
I've played the minigames in my real systems for a long time but the recording scenarios aren't the best ones, which is why I want to see a workable emulation.
 
Well guys i ran into another problem with rayman 3 for my gamecube :(
This time after finishing the game i tried to reload the file and everything worked except... The Fairy Council stage was 0 points and there was a revisit button so of course i revisited it to fix that and after finishing The Fairy Council (for the 2nd time) i tried again to reload and now i had 29748 points but there is no revisit button.
Please tell me there is a solution :(
I would not prefer replaying the whole game again (but i would if that was the only option)
 
Out of curiosity, are you having any issues with other games on that memory card? If you're constantly having issues, it might be the card that's having issues.
 
Nope, everything else works just fine, i have an old save for for example Super Mario Sunshine thats over 10 years old that still works
 
Odd that your save keeps getting corrupted. If I were you I'd turn of auto-saving and only save after every play session to minimie the risk of a corrupt save. That's what I had to do with Jak X on PS2 which had such an issue. You should also try backing up your save so you don't have to replay the entire game if this happens again. Other than that I don't know what else to do. As Master mentioned it could be something with your memory card, in which case you could try savig on another one if you have several. Just because one save works doesn't mean the entire card is functioning perfectly. While it is unlikely, you could check if the disc has any scratches, though it's highly unlikely that it'd be scratched right at the point where it does the saving.
 
The disc has 0 scratches, i bought it new.
When it comes to memory cards I have only 1 and currently I have wasted most my money on Rayman 3 and the link cable so getting a new might be a problem. One thing I'm gonna try is replay Tower Of The Leptys and see if that adds a revisit button.
 
I have an update!
I can now access The Fairy Council.
All i had to do was revisit another level and then the revisit button for TFC came back.
The problem does still persist though but atleast i have a 'sort of' solution to it.
One weird thing is that after finishing TFC and it goes back to the menu, Clearleaf Forest music starts playing as if the game tries to load it like it's my first time playing. That probably explains that there is no revisit button because the game thinks im still only at Clearleaf Forest.
