Rayman 3

The Cartoscope was a VIP-member feature in RaymanZone, which consisted in creating flash postcards. The music does appears in the making of Rayman 3, so I hope the music is included in the press kit :P.

Before uploading these to my YouTube channel, I hope the Press Kit videos have got a high video quality. Not just for YouTube but also to notice better some details I've catched up, like unseen artwork (I'm almost sure I did see drawn concept art of the Knaaren) and an unseen Rayman animation.

Never saw making of R3 before, so I'll have to check that out.

I can see at 0:20 of the first part, the Rayman statue is shown off, I've only seen it once on the forums (I think on the rare rayman pictures thread?)

Did the GameCube version of this game have a lenticular cover version? I know that the PS2 and PC versions had copies like that (I have the cover for the PS2 one), but I'd like to know if there's one for the GameCube version before I get it.

Howdy and welcome to the forum.

As far as I'm aware, only the PC and PS2 versions had holographic covers in their first editions.

I still have the hologram from my PS2 version of Rayman 3, even though the game itself has since been passed on.

Oh hi Truner. I see you finally decided to use your 2 year inactive account :P
I honestly had no idea you were registred here until few days ago. I do recommend PC version because it can go really high resolution wise and soon RibShark will provide Widescreen Patch for it. Hope you stay around here for a while dude ;)

Thanks for the welcome! Yeah, I registered here two years ago in search for Rayman Collector, but never really used the place as I have enough communities in my life already. But I guess posting here sometimes won't hurt anyone, so here I am!
I'd personally like to get the GameCube version, because I can totally see myself emulating it on whatever hardware I want it on.

The same doesn't apply to the PC version. Getting old PC games to work on never hardware is getting harder and harder with each new operating system.
I bought my copy of Rayman 3 with the lenticular cover for $3. But later on, I sold away the game itself (kept the lenticular cover, lol) for the same price. So free lenticular cover!

PC version works fully on modern PC's except no widescreen support.
I myself would like GameCube version as well. Mainly the French Anniversary Collection with bonus 4 Animated episodes.

Well...it can be forced onto widescreen in an unofficial capacity, but there's no true Widescreen means, Ribshark's efforts to make this widescreen patch will ensure completely correct function of the game in aesthetics when the widescreen is enforced. However, his efforts have been paused in order to solve the Widescreen issue in Rayman 2 PC, an issue which I personally think is more needy of a resolution given that no trick can force it.

For now, it works. Imagine what happens when something goes wrong in a few years and the game stops working.

Meanwhile, Dolphin has an Android port and GameCube emulation can be done pretty well now. I'm thinking well into the future with this. :)
Also, I'd like to get that version too! Does that version come with English language support?

Omar will just make R3 Playable when that time comes. He even said he can't wait for that to happen so he can have fun :P

With the R3 bosses, eg. Reflux (final confrontation), do you think ubisoft could pull something even bigger off? The first time I ever played Rayman 3, i did not expect the boss to be split into three sections and be so hard! Do you think (once they've made another 3D rayman game), they could out do their selves?
