Rayman 3

Not quite sure what you're asking there, Brad. Are you asking about what means of control we'd recommend? Or manner of approaching the game itself?

I see. Well, I'm not well versed with PC gamepads, I just use my PS3 controller to play Rayman 3.

Double post, but:

I have finally found the right address for a GUI fix in widescreen! As you can see, the menu looks almost as good as in HD (I think it is the same as the Mac). Cutscenes are not fixed yet, but expect a simple patcher to be released soon!

I want to try other ways of getting past the title screen, but I'll have to wait till I get back from my vaycay.

Cool, i anticipate the patch's release, and many thanks for your efforts.

i also anticipate the patch's release1 :D

I'll maybe then progressively try and improve my score.

Though it clearly isn't the similar to the HD version, it's just stretched, but that's infinitely better than offset nonsense!

Well, sort of. The sprites and backgrounds are stretched, but the text isn't. It looks much worse when the text is also stretched. The HUD is also not stretched at all (so really the menu, the UbiSoft logo and the Rayman 3 logo are the only things that are stretched).

Dearie me, the stuff I type at 2 in the morning.

Anyways, the whole stretching out thing is present in the HD rereleases on PS3 and 360 as well, if memory serves.

Did you guys knew about this?

Great finding, Omar! :o Finally we get to know what's the gameplay in that obscure version for the DigiBlast and it seems it is a port of the GBA version, but with downgraded music. At least we don't seem to be losing anything.

DigiBlast is really rare system. I remember it also had some Gormiti Arcade Beat 'em Up styled game. Glad that it also has Rayman 3 but not many games were made for DigiBlast.

I remember seeing the console with couple of games including Rayman 3 on eBay last year ago. I wonder why I didn't shared it, until I found it again...

I'm assuming Heckler refers to the total amount of hits the Horrible Machine can take before being destroyed. These hits, which we call resistance on the Wiki, refer to the amount of damage one normal fist can deal.
