Also, it recently occured to me that I pulled the Lever in TOTL Part 2, and when the statue of the Knaaren turned around, the Green Gem did not appear. During the process of the statue turning, I could briefly see that the Green Gem somehow got stuck behind the wall.

Another thing I'd like to point out (although it may be known to many people) is that in FC Part 3, you can't kill André while flying. When I was mid-air at the moment my fist connected with him, he wouldn't die from the shot; so basically, as soon as you don't touch the ground, he's immortal.

By the way, the game usually doesn't save if you just load a new world. If you were to play, say SBTC Part 3, and you accidently loaded SBTC Part 1 again, you should be able to just reload the savegame, and start at Part 3 again. In simple terms: For the game to save, you have to FINISH a Part... Or maybe that's just my version.
 
I'm with Maz on that one. It's all about the auto-saves baybeh! I might brave the Desert again.. If that damn egg/coconut can be bothered too appear!!
 
If it doesn't, try this or this. It's not easy to make that work out, but in case the egg's not there, you'd have a way to end the level at least (plus, since you're improving your Score at the moment, it would get you a few extra points as well).
 
Congratulations, but don't let up! Rayman 3 is probably the most replayable game in the series thanks to its scoring system, feel free to refine that score and rise up the rankings and HoF.

I swear the same egg thing happened to me twice, so I thought I was doing something wrong, like I had to destroy the first egg for the second one would spawn, which was impossible to do while also getting past the Knaaren. Came back to it next day, didn't work, so I reloaded it, and blam, finished it in 5 minutes. This was the HD version, so you'd think it would've been fixed.

Annoying huh. Well I haven't been back to it yet to see if it's fixed. I sure hope it has.

You should attempt to make it more in line with an actual book, and less like a haphazard script. Proper punctuation, spacing, and more quotation marks. Also, try to make it flow better, and less randomly. I voted to see another chapter, because I enjoyed this one, but I have to admit it was for all the wrong reasons.
 
Yet he manages it perfectly fine in RO onwards, last I checked, Ancel was in charge of those.

Either ways, this could easily be asked in the normal R3 thread, merging now.
 
Well, he just learned to swim over the course of the games:

Rayman 1 > Couldn't swim
Rayman 2 > Learned to swim
Rayman 3 > Learned to extract dissolved oxygen from water

I myself just passed step three four months ago.
