Rayman himself

I used it in a somewhat colloquial sense, which was probably a mistake.

Anyway, maybe Michel means he wants to make a fourth single-player game in which Rayman is the only playable character ("his" fourth adventure). Or maybe he's just trying to troll the people who are so condescending about his more recent work.

I've been waiting for this game 12 years now, and it's so great to hear that this idea is somewhat still alive, I just hope it'll live up to our expectations (if it ever gets made).

Things got real really fast. :hinhin:

A part of me wants the Rabbids to be in this potential "fourth adventure". That way I can beat the heck out of them. No plunger guns, just straight up telescopic fist action.

If a 3D Rayman 4 ends up being developed, I'm curious about what Rayman's design will look like, since every new entry on the original trilogy changed it up a bit.

While I don't mind the odd tweak, I feel like changing the design just for the sake of it kinda dilutes Rayman's iconicness. I think the UbiArt design did well in reconciling the more modern sensibilities of his Rayman 3 design while replacing the edginess with a charm more akin to his 90s designs. While I've not been all too impressed with the 3D renders of the UbiArt Rayman design, if the Smashified render is anything to go by (though granted, it is a 2D drawing), I think it is possible to show the UbiArt Rayman in 3D in a more aesthetically pleasing manner.

Yeah, I think sticking to the UbiArt could also be a good idea. Also, they kinda managed to translate Rayman's 2D design from the Origins/Legends games in the 3D trailers (from legends and adventures) . I think a less goofy version of those models could work pretty well.

Yeah!!!, this "notice" made me very happy!:) If you think of it, remember when (I think it was in January?) Rayman official Facebook said that if the Switch version sold well, they would make a new Rayman Game? Maybe a Rayman game has been in the talks since a long time (but I think that's obvious).

At this point, there's no guarantee that anything will come of it, this isn't an announcement of a new title, it's a desire. We've no idea if he'll be able to act on it, bearing in mind he's currently working on two games, and that it's up to UbiSoft as to whether he'll be able to make a new title.

Like I've said before, it's a cause for optimism, but if you're going into this thinking a new title is imminent, you may be being a bit too hasty at this point.

Man, I really hope this happens, if not; I'll feel bad for Michel Ancel, since he seemed pretty excited announcing the possibility of Rayman returning

Given that you can already beat up the Rabbids in many official capacities--in Raving Rabbids GBA, Raving Rabbids DS, several of the console minigames, Inside the Wii Remote from Rabbids Go Home, Rayman Adventures, and probably Mario + Rabbids--I'm not too keen on the "so I can wail on them" excuse anymore. I'd like the Rabbids to stay separate except for one Easter egg at most.

Probs been mentioned before but I've only just realised!

Why is Rayman always asleep?
at the start of (almost) ever game the lazy s.o.b is sleeping.

Rayman: asleep in hammock
Rayman 2: asleep on prison cell floor
Rayman 3: fast asleep with Globox and Murphy under tree
Rayman Origins: fast asleep with friends
Rayman Legends: Same as origins

Why?, is it just a recurring quirk or is there any reason you can think of?

Well, look at it this way! :hehe:

If you spent so many countless days fighting evil.
Later in the end, The world is saved and You may want to take a rest since the world will not be at peace for long.
Fighting bad guys is kinda tiring.

"Now rest! You may have to fight again!"
That sound familiar?

It is an interesting thing to point out though, one of the things I vaguely recall about the unused script for Rayman Origins is the Magician's disdain for the laziness that he perceived in the Glade of Dreams, it was one of his motivations for attempting to take over, if memory serves.

I guess Rayman sleeping in every game is just an inside joke, funnily enough in the manual for Rayman 2 where all the lore is explained between the 1st and 2nd game, Rayman is found sleeping under a palm tree by some fishermen

Well, that Instagram post surely opens room for speculation. Does this means that the UbiArt games aren't really cannon? Would be funny actually to think about it :mryellow:. Now then, it is pretty vague. He could be just saying that for just saying "what people want to read" or talking for real. As far they do bring a 3D title on surface I do not really care if it is a 4, or any other name.
