I find that actually every character changes when he/she goes from 2D to 3D.

Sonic has changed in the way he is seen in games.

They actually didn't change from R1 to R2, but from R2 to R3. Rayman was completely redesigned, and he looks alot cooler now.

Rayman changed the most from Rayman 1 to Rayman 2. In Rayman 3, he changed alot to, but not as many as from Rayman 1 to Rayman 2.

I think he changed more from R2 to R3. EXERYTHING was changed except of the clothe. (Now I understand Murfy's joke... -Funny clothe. When will you change it?- Sorry for bad translation...)

No really, teh only major change was the hair. But from R1 to R2 he had his style completely changed. Originally he had a happy cartoony look with big round eyes and his hair was completely different, not the two bits of hair he has in R2 and 3.

I think you should look closer at his new look. His shoes were changed alot and his scarf were replaced by a hood.

After taking a closer look i think he changed equally from Rayman 1 to 2, and from Rayman 2 to 3. How did Rayman even change from Rayman 3 to Rayman Raving Rabbids ?

His design did change a little, but only a VERY little! The things at his hood (don't know what they're called) are black, instead of light grey.

I think it wasn't needed, the style in Rayman Raving Rabbids is very well so i think that Rayman doesn't need to change much.
