Rayman himself

Other reasons why Capcom should NEVER get the rights for Rayman:
1. The Mega Man games (my example through the whole thing) might be fun, but it doesn't have the originality or magic style from the Rayman series.
2. The names of the new characters would start getting lame. It would be something like 'Lum Man' or 'Dr. Bomb' or stuff like that.
3. The music would be bad. Sorry, but the MM music is pretty bad. I haven't tried the newer games though, so i might be wrong at this one.
4. Mega Man has gotten worse reviews as time has passed. Not excacly what i want to happen to Rayman.
5. Rayman would probably be spelled Ray Man. :? You get my point here, right?
6. Mega Man is already Capcom's mascot, which means if they had Rayman, chances would be that he became a MM character (and then, the Ray Man nightmare would definitely come true). Also, Rayman that takes place in the sci-fi enviroments = NO!
7. The whole "Rayman would be cooler" thing is just your opinion. I think Rayman is coolest, and i don't think MM gets anywhere near him. Also, Rayman would might change his design, and i don't even wanna think about how that would look. :?

Hmph, well that's YOUR opinion. :roll: And most of those reasons were pretty stupid. It's almost as if you're kidding.
 
I think it's just that Ubi Soft has proved that it can make really great Rayman games and CAPCOM hasn't made one :wink:

As concerns Shawn's idea, it would be the end of Rayman. UbiSoft developers are really talented and no one could replace them to create original Rayman games. Unfortunately, the marketing department of Ubi have decided to take advantage of the cash cow that are rabbids instead of developing decent games, and I'm afraid there's nothing we can do about it.

1: "women" Isn't a misspelling.
2: I haven't spelled his name like "RayMan" in quite a while now.
3: putting a hyphen in between "four" and "teen" isn't a misspelling either.
BTW, you spelled "pedophile" wrong. :P

Anyway, Mega Man isn't the only game series Capcom has made. If they made a Rayman game, they would most likely make something pretty original. Sure, the atmosphere would be different, but the gameplay would be solid. And trust me, the music would be amazing. It wouldn't suck. Sorry if I'm offending anybody.
