Rayman himself

Its a virus called the Incognito Anonymus, its impossible to get rid of it, it drains your energy until you die, sorry.

If Rayman's hair was his ears as well, I think it's clear his eardrum would rupture (if he had eardrum, but if he didn't, then he would not be able to hear anyways)

Well that's why he has large fingers. Hopefully they don't fit up his nostrils.
 
In rayman 3 its explaned that a young lady with no torso or head seek rayman for torrid mergers


This is what i think about rayman :

rayman was intially born in another world than the glade of dreams with arms legs and neck when betilla invoked him (with a lack of lums) rayman was

amnesic and loose arms and his legs and his neck...

the other part of his body was unperfectly created under the form of a lady want to reunited with rayman...

its a theory
 
The missing lums have been corrupted by the zombie chickens

And after that mr dark use that thing to invoke dark ray (also my theory)

This is why dark ray want to be rayman
