Maybe the Glade of Dreams should be considered to be Rayman's World itself, and maybe some games take place on different islands or different places in the world. We all know that first of all, Rayman 1 takes place on one of the Islands of the Archipelago, called the Valley.OldClassicGamer said:Well, all games take place in Glade of Dreams.
Different Glades of Dreams? No way... No one ever mentioned there would be 2 or more glades, of course including the devs.Stoney! said:They could be different glade of dreams, much like the LOTLD in rayman 3 and origins, though unlike the LOTLD, the glade of dreams doesn't change.OldClassicGamer said:Well, all games take place in Glade of Dreams.
I don't think so, even if you don't care about there appearance, you should care about where they are located. The Great Protoon is located in the Valley, while the Heart is located in the Big island. This problem solved.Master said:Hm, I'm pretty sure they do mention the Heart of the World in the Origins saga...
In terms of the Great Protoon and Heart, many just consider them to be the same thing, I believe.
Pls gimme link i'm lazy ass.Master said:Hm, perhaps it'd be best if we continue this in the headcanon thread, which I do sometimes feel should be merged with the lore thread.
It is ironic how thisMichel Ancel said:One has to know that Rayman Origins isn't just one game – we plan to make others, with retro 2D gameplay, and to give more and more details on the story.
actually did not happen.Michel Ancel said:and to give more and more details on the story

Drolpiraat said:To be honest, people here think about these things too much. As if the developers were thinking that the Lums in Rayman Origins were different Lums than those in Rayman 2. As if they were inspired by Rayman 3's LOTLD for anything more than the name for RO's LOTLD.
Some people here try to find continuity for the sake of having a somehow coherent image of the series in their minds, while in reality, there has been very little continuity since Rayman 2 discarded the events from Rayman 1 apart from one little mention in the manual. I think Rayman 3 and Rayman Legends are the only real sequels in the series: to Rayman 2 and Origins respectively. The other games are all reboots.
Wait, could you provide a link to that?Rayrobi said:Pls gimme link i'm lazy ass.Master said:Hm, perhaps it'd be best if we continue this in the headcanon thread, which I do sometimes feel should be merged with the lore thread.
Anyways, i just read back to the first page and stumbled upon this:

People outside of fanbase already think that even if no source confirmed or denied it.Haruka said:I agree with you in general, although I would only accept RO and RL as "reboots" if there was any official source confirming so.
I'd bet money that the 2nd 3rd rayman game will be only supervised by Ancel because hes working on beyond good and evil... again!OldClassicGamer said:People outside of fanbase already think that even if no source confirmed or denied it.Haruka said:I agree with you in general, although I would only accept RO and RL as "reboots" if there was any official source confirming so.
@Rayrobi perhaps third game will add story. If it gets made because of sales of RL![]()
Yeah. It's 4 player CO-OP and fun to playBradandez said:Just like the Epic E3 2013 trailer. I would love a game like that. Maybe make a game like Super Mario 3D World? Now that's an idea.
