Buildersith I believe you're referring to the Sanctuary Of Stone and Fire, the one which you get the second mask?

I'm sure. Because there are no Walking Shells in the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava.
All that Rayman has to do in the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava is just fly with the super helicopter.
That's Beneath The Sanctuary of Rock and Lava.
The Sanctuary Of Rock And Lava is where you begin in a swamp, end up inside the place, ride on magical flowers, ascend a lava tower, then dodge some deadly moving walls to the finish.
Don't forget the largest bouncing eyeballs you will ever see in your life.
That too.

The Bouncing Eyes are probably one of the creepiest things in Rayman 2 that exist.

Am I the only person in here that also hates the RO level, Fickle Fruit? If I do not count Riding the Storm, this one is the level I hate most in the game. Stupid oranges.

In Rayman- it was probably space Mamas Crater *shiver* ummm rayman 2- Im gonna go with cave of bad dreams gotta hate that evil testicle rayman 3- desert of the knaaren and origins - probably one of the food orientated levels

I agree with you. Frickle Fruit is a very annoying level especially while getting the speed trophy.

Compared with Mecha No Mistake?

It's fun how most people just hate the hardest levels.

In the original game, I can't think of a least favourite level or world at the moment. In Rayman 2, the Top of the World was pretty much a filler level so I'd choose this one, even though I'm always tired of playing the Fairy Glade every time I restart the game. In Rayman 3, that would definitely be the Longest Shortcut, which I never found inspiring, in addition to being quite boring in my opinion. Not sure about Origins, but some of the icy Gourmand Land and Grumbling Grottos levels just don't make me feel like playing.

The Desert of the Knaaren isn't difficult to me per-say. I dislike it for the fact it still sends chills down my spine. Especially when I get surprised.

Then there's also the last Hoodlum Headquarters level that I never could pass when I was younger. That one part of the game was such a sudden change of pace I got choked up and panicked. I have no problem with it now, but it deserves it's place as one of my ex-most-hated.

As for Rayman 2: I despise all of the levels on PS1 in which you have to keg-fly, rocket-fly or just fly. Is it deliberate that my controls react slower than usual?

I agree with the Longest Shortcut. Pretty boring world to play. But al least the world is short :)

I like the Longest Shortcut, but my favourite Rayman 3 level is the Land of the Livid Dead.

My least favourite is probably the Bog of Murk.

Why do you hate the Bog of Murk Haruka?

Yeah, the Bog of Murk is awesome. I love the visual style, the environment and the way that it has its own little subplot.

The Bog of Murk was probably my favourite level from Rayman 3. The style, the gameplay variety, and the music were all... perfect... aside from the middle section which felt a little too much like filler.

Agree. The Bog of Murk is a great place in Rayman 3 :)

I do prefer a lot more the Land of the Livid Dead for several reasons, like the fantasy-alike environment and inspired in the Celtic culture plus the lot of action that happens in the same level.

I too like The Land Of The Livid Dead the most in Rayman 3, of all the worlds featured in the game, this just felt the most magical.
I just wished Andre wouldn't ruin the mood so much with his incessant blabbering.

I don't hate any level, but there are a lot of hard ones.

-Rayman 1: Pencil Pentathlon - it's a long level and contains a lot of bottomless pits.
-Rayman 2: Tomb Of The Ancients - it's also long and creepy (and Zombie Chickens everywhere).
-Rayman M: Treasure Ship - it has a lot of traps and some of the shortcuts are hard to reach.
-Rayman 3: Hoodlum Headquarters Part 3 - lava, lava everywhere.
-Rayman Origins: Land Of The Livid Dead - hands down, the hardest Rayman stage ever.

The Land of the Livid Dead is a great place. Remember on Part 1 when Andre farted?

I'm actually not sure if LotLD is that much harder than Pencil Pentathlon. There are some really, insanely hard flying sections in the latter that require a ridiculous ammount of precision, and leaves absolutely no room for fuck-ups. Livid Dead doesn't leave much room for this either, but it is still possible to not get a jump perfect and still live.
