My resolution is 1280x1024. I guess that makes it a 4:3, since it's quite square, not at all like a widescreen.
Actually, 1280x1024 is one of the few 5:4 ratios in existence, which is why it's one of the worst things ever invented.
Strangely enough, most games have a native format of 1280x??? which is excellent for me, especially if they don't support scaling (I don't mind the stretch that much). But I can see how it's a bad thing to have from a dev's point of view.

The games only allow you to pick a resolution as high as your monitor's. Also, some games actually place a "(native)" marker next to your monitor's native resolution; most of Valve's games do. The resolutions it displays are not pre-built into the game.

Not to sound opinionated, but it should be seen as a bad thing from everyone's point of view. :p

You think my format is terrible? I always enjoyed the "squared" displays to play videogames on my PC but that's just my personal opinion. I only use the widescreen format for my home consoles.

Technically yes, as you get a larger field of view with a wider screen. 16:9 is unconditionally the best standard format for gaming.

Well, at least 20 years ago nobody was minding to play in squared CRTs in their home consoles. :P

I know, tech evolved and gaming too. Its understandable, but I won't change my display for a 16:9 as long as it keeps doing its duty.

The progress is well going! I finished the Patch-only variant.

Does anybody of you knows a good hoster? I finished the first build for public testing.

Sure thing. But cuz I didn't have the french or english version of 60 nouveux indetits this game is the only one which is not 100% french or english. (I JUST NEED THE FILES IN PCMAP NOTHING MORE) If I had this..

First public version is up.

OK I finished the Configurator. It will be later included to the setup files. Would be great if a couple of people test that.

Configuration.exe (3,37MB)

Just a question, do I use that exe file anyplace I want or does it needs to be in a specific folder?

What did you want us to test about it? I can select a few options in it, yes. That works fine. When I close it, though, nothing special happens. Was something supposed to happen?
