1) Can 'Aspect Corection' be turned off by default? It's strange to have it squished into 4:3 by default.

Never ever play with the frequencies selection in the options menu!

Well, if you know what you’re doing, you actually CAN play with the frequency selection! You should have said this:

Never set the frequency in the options menu to MAX!
