Rayman Optimum

Hi gys! I need your help!
First of all, great work! this version is very nice and works well. But I have one problem with it : How am I supposed to bind keys?
I mean I tried to use the ctrl+f1 in game and it has a 50% proba to crash the game and I tried to launch Dosbox alone then bind but changes aren't applied in game!
That's very frustating! Can someone help me plz?
 
Ok found the answer... I dno who made this but come on! You should have though about that...
Well, I'll tell you how to do, in cas anyone wants to do it too : go to Rayman->Engine. Then open Rayman.conf and add "mapper-SVN-Daum.map" (remove the ") after "mapperfile=". This is supposed to work. Feel free to ask anytime if you need it.

there is nothing at betilla's garden either, i think is even the same link used here so i ask again, CAN ANYONE THAT HAS THE PSX UPGRADE AND THE EXTRAS SHARE?

honestly, do any of you even care anymore? i have been trying to recreate the experience from my childhood with no luck, and it has been years doing so
-_- gotta try configuring again a psx emulator or something
 
the "extras" and the "psx upgrade" are down, and i cant find them anywhere to download, so i have been asking if someone could share them
 
i dont know exactly what the extras are, because as i said i never got to download them to even inspect what they were but the psx upgrade is a graphic upgrade to the optimum game which is based on the pc version but now using the graphics of the psx rayman game, that is superior in every way, but is nowhere to be found as the download link here (at the begining of this thread) and betilla's garden forum(where it appears to be first published) are both down, so im stuck with the inferior graphics
 
I believe the extras are the Rayman Collector special minigames. I think they were uploaded in another thread as well.
 
Are you really whining about a graphic upgrade on Rayman 1? I guess you're not... that would be too stupid for me to understand ^^
I just don't know about the extras as I'm like you and never saw them...
 
Hmm, I think there's been a misunderstanding. It's impossible to get PSX-quality graphics into the PC game. The PCX files allow you to use custom tiles in your Rayman Designer levels.

Having a problem with the joypad. I'm using a SNES controller with an adapter but the control just keeps putting in random inputs when I try to configure it.
The adapter and controller work perfectly for every other game I use them for.
 
I had the same issue with my PS2 controller and I ended up using another program called joy2key to map the controller buttons to keyboard inputs instead. Since it's a 2D game not using an analog stick it doesn't matter having the controller emulate the arrow keys.
 

I'm getting this black border on the left side of the screen when playing in fullscreen regardless of the resolution.

Any way to fix this?
