Rayman's age

The name 'Rayman' shouldn't rule out the possibility of him ever being young. I mean, it's just a name.

I remember an official source stating that Rayman got his "in-universe" name from the rays of light used to weave him into existence.

In an interview it got explained that Rayman's name came from the Ray-Tracing program they used to design Rayman 1. Since Rayman was "the man designed with the ray-tracing" it got like this. At least it is better than Jimmy.

Yeas, i know. But i always think that that is the age with or without the -man.

Let's put this to rest...Rayman Origins and Legends...ARE NOT, REPEAT: ARE NOT PREQUELS!
That idea was forsaken once RO moved from being an episodic game.

I find it annoying when people say Rayman must have always been an adult because his name is Rayman. Wouldn't it make sense for his name to have been Rayman ever since he was born/created? I mean, I know it shows Rayman being created as an adult in that Origins trailer, but then in that PSVita relic thing, it shows that he was bald at some point and not the only one of his kind so what is even canon and what is not canon I don't even....

Rayman is only a name, actually because of the technology used to design Rayman 1, it was officially confirmed in an interview.

Rayman was litterally a human in the very first concept of the Rayman 1 game. (Jimmy, oh my...)

I agree that Rayman does look younger in Origins and Legends, but regardless, I'm pretty sure they are set after the trilogy.

They are, let's not cause that confusion again.

If you ask me, I think he's ageless, being an artificial lifeform created by Betilla. Now that the first trailer for Origins was retconned to being non-canon, I also have a theory I came up with; when he was created, he started out as a small weakling, that needed to be protected, and then quickly grew into what he's now and that Betilla would've been like a mother to him in the first days after creation.

well i,ve looked at it a bit there no way to tell almost we should give up unless it tells us in legends then we will know if it dose :D
