Hmm, you can get twice as much there. With the green gem you can already get more points than that. But it's just... I don't want to do that to you, you shouldn't frustrate yourself for nothing. It's just fucking terrible how I got 20000 in this part... :?

One problem, I haven't played R3 for lots of months now. And even if I remembered every single thing, I still wouldn't know how to describe it. There's a particular place where you have to walk and make some movements to trigger a glitch (at some point you get launched into the air, so you can helicopter onto the higher level of the ship having the Lockjaw) in order to get a combo of 9000 for the green gem. But anyway, may you find out where to trigger this glitch, I'll just give a warning for this combo: when falling down, please oh please don't fall right into the Throttle Copter...
And this glitch takes practice too. You have to do it quickly before your boat is destroyed by the 'fish'. And then there's a combo with all the other yellow gems and LOTS OF FISHES, and it's well as difficult as the green gem combo. The point is that you can get the yellow gems on the net, then fall down on the last yellow gem there, being closest to the platform with more yellow gems. There's a trick that will get Rayman to run immediately after he lands (when he lands, move him forward and also press the right or left button, it's necessary to make the combo work). Then quickly run to the platform, jump onto it and you should get right on time to get the next yellow gem on that platform. Get those gems, and just before you get the last one, shoot the cannon ONCE. Walk back and give it another TWO shots (one is sometimes not enough for one fish :?). The pause is important to continue the combo, because while you're busy shooting fish, new fish will appear at the places you shot the cannon at.

Ok, i think i will try soon. Then i start with the green gem combo, i know sometimes Rayman gets launched in the air, i had that clitch also at an useless place in the first part of DOTK.. If i read it then i think the combo with the gold gems and fishes still sounds harder.
 
Once you get the Lockjaw up the higher deck, the green gem combo is indeed easier than the fish one. But if you take exactly the right pause between the fish in that bit, you can get lots of points with it. A combo of 3100 is possible, and every fish you can get in combo is worth 300 points at this point. I believe I got a combo of 4000 once.

After this combo, you have to keep making combos of 60 for the fish on the higher deck, and you can make combos using the pauses correctly too, with the other three cannons. I made a combo of more than 900 once using only the fish from those three cannons. lol, it's pretty hilarious...
 
Around 20000. I believe I never got higher than 19800 myself, though. In any case, if you want 85000 or more after part 2, I suggest you get at least 19000 in this part. But preferably as much as possible, because an important thing in R3 is to get as many points in early parts, so you have a little getaway for difficult parts where you can let slip a few little points (and where you sometimes have to prevent yourself from getting too many points because you need a specific score after a specific part to get the maximum score in it, this doesn't apply as much for SBTC though). In part 2 you have to do most of my latest combos right to get a score like that, but I know it's possible to get more than 88000 after part 2.

I played that part now and i was able too shoot Rayman in the air one time, after that i hadn't that luck, or the boat was destroyed. But when i was up with the Lockjaw, the lockjaw runned out before i was able to finish the green gem combo. :cry:

I improved the fish combo, but it is way too hard to do it correctly like you said, may i am ever able to finish that combo completely correct, but yes, it's really frustrating.. :roll:
 
Haha, I told you. It's also irritating when your ship gets destroyed just at the end. It once happened to me when I have 20300. BOOM.
Also, not being able to trigger the launching glitch while your lockjaw gently runs out, is incredibly annoying...

It reminds me of a stupid glitch in SBTC... the combo was stuck in some secret passage!

I couldn't have quoted anyone. I was talking to you, but I wasn't talking about getting fantastically superb combos using the cannons...
