Vacation? Alert us!

I'm going to London tomorrow with the wife. I know this doesn't really constitute a vacation, but I don't exactly get out much.
 
I'm off to Vietnam tomorrow and will return on the 30th. I may drop in to make a few posts towards the end of this time.
 
Well, I'm leaving tomorrow morning about 26 hours from now. And I wont be back til November.

Why, you ask? Because I'm off to basic training! I took my oath for the Army Reserves 11 months ago while I was still in high school; and now that I'm graduated my ship date is coming up quickly.

Geez I'm excited but terrified! Any prayers for me? Or words of motivation? Big cliche speeches about how I'm gonna do great and it's gonna be a breeze and it'll fly by and I've got this?

I researched this after I saw this and it turns out the minimum age is 16 with parental permission. But we all know that's not going to happen, right?
 
omg i was joking i didn't actually expect anyone to believe it?

i'm pretty sure it is 12 in some countries tho O: could be wrong
 
I'm pretty sure that if it sounded more like a joke people would've been less likely to believe it.
