It's not just friends, it's anyone. Including newspapers, websites and stuff like that. I'm not sure about how this is in other countries.
 
It's not like Bebo. Your profile is hidden from anyone not on your friend list. And it's international.
 
You can do that on Bebo too. Anyways, if i had a Facebook profile, it would probably be in Danish, so it wouldn't be so fun for most people here.
