My pleasure . I also would like to thank Hoodcom for coming up with the purple theme, and if I'm not mistaken he also came up with the idea for a plum logo.
Why thank you, Elite! I loved the Plum logo a lot, but to be honest I wasn't the one who came up with the plum logo specifically. At the time I had no idea what was planned, unless the theme color scheme influenced the logo idea! Either way I love what you did with the Plum logo, I know I gave feedback on which ones I liked best! Also thank you again for the amazing work you've put in too!

As I mentioned in my post here, the primary inspiration for the purple theme actually came from the logo Rayman Saturn posted. I liked it so much I wanted to base the theme around it, it seemed too perfect not to! Image

Thanks a lot, we definitely poured a lot of love into it and we hope it'll be both enjoyable and useful for everyone! :D

And yes, turns out we all ended up inspiring each other with all the colours and logos!
I'm pretty sure I'm the first who suggested the plum idea (as I originally must have joked about making the fanwiki completely Plum-themed :noel: ). But I don't know if it's truly the original inspiration or just the colours, and I wouldn't have considered it (or my logo design) without dr_st suggesting the first colour scheme ideas for the Fanpedia's identity! :mryellow:

And now that the Rayman Alive event rolled out, it's good to finally be able to have more than two news on the main page! :oops2: :hap:

This Rayman Alive was amazing. I can't imagine how many fan games will come next year :confus: :fou: . Wow, I like this new Wikipedia for fan works. Undoubtedly, this is the best year for this community. :mryellow: :mryellow:

Ok I've just finished watching it, and I have to say...wow. I'm not as deeply entrenched in the fanbase as I was 10 years ago, but I always kept some tabs on developments, such as when the CPA engine was leaked and folks started coming out with cool custom levels. And of course there was the discoveries that came alongside like the information regarding what RRR DS started out as.

But never, never did I ever expect to such a range of creativity and variety of ideas come out from the series. So many fangames, of so many different flavours, taking inspiration from the og era, all the way to even the UbiArt games. And then even more! Animated projects! Like holy shit, I remember back when Rayman animated projects were just sprite-edits, and here we are now getting drawn animations and artwork. The fans have grown so much and as corny as it sounds...I'm actually kinda emotional. Like never did I ever think I'd see so much from our little fanbase. And TONIC TROUBLE! WE REMEMBERED TONIC TROUBLE, HOW COOL IS THAT!

Needless to say, in the absence of any official titles, it looks like I'll be playing a good chunk of fan ones 😁

It's amazing how that works sometimes, y'know? I'm glad we make a great team! 8)

Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, I haven't been deeply entrenched into the fanbase myself, especially given my deep dive into the Splatoon series in the past few years. So I had been more out of the loop on things, other than a few misc things. I knew Adsolution had still been working hard at her project but that's about it.

So this was a fantastic event for me to witness, and I was pretty excited for it! :)

I definitely did. It was amazing seeing the Rayman 2 HD trailer, and I really look forward to what it becomes. Honestly, I'm proud of everyone's work that was shown today, the fanbase is amazing! :D

Also, the demo releases "NEVER".

I would like to add my Rayman Expert mod for Rayman 1 to the modifications section in the "List of notable Rayman Fangames page" (seen here... https://fan.raymanpc.com/wiki/List_of_n ... n_fangames) if possible, would I need to get someone else to do it or can anyone amend it with an account?

Eventually when it's released I would like to write up about all the levels like what was done with the Rayman 1 RayWiki pages (like this one... https://raymanpc.com/wiki/en/Pink_Plant_Woods).

Anyone with an account is free to edit it. ;) And I sure look forward to the mod's release!

Also yeah, anyone is free to edit the wiki as Hunch says. Someone can always lend a hand or fix things up if it gets confusing. ;)

Good job on adding the mod! Looking forward to its release! :bad:

I think it would also be great to document any of your other projects like the Welcome to Darkland expansion there! It should be worth an article of its own.
After all, it has quite an interesting history and also had a big influence over some content in Rayman Redemption and ReDesigner (Molten Depths, Playtopia, the Mr Dark "snowman") ! :)

Chacanger wrote: Thu Mar 10, 2022 10:18 pm A few years back I remember stumbling across a Rayman 1 review by Caddicarus and remembered him saying the game was to hard and people in the comments were saying things like "This game wasn't play tested" to which I thought, that's a load of <insert word here>.
As a Caddicarus follower...
I 100% approve!

The event was great, and you guys really nailed it with the Royal.V song. Special thanks to Unheard for organizing all this!

I'll have to dig out all of the stuff I can for the expansion but I think a lot of it was lost when my first laptops hard drive malfunctioned many years back.

I've also added an entry for Kaizoman and added a small page on it, it's not much but it's a start... https://fan.raymanpc.com/wiki/Kaizoman

Ah that's unfortunate... Hopefully there are still some assets left, regardless, nothing better than the creator's input to document a project! :mryellow:
At worst, we can always use screenshots taken in your videos to showcase the graphic content. I usually wouldn't suggest to do so due to recording changing the quality and YouTube's compression... but if there's really no other option to illustrate something, then so be it.

And nice addition to the fanpedia, for something "that's not much", that's a good stub already! :)

How do I submit a submission if I was planning to join Rayman: Alive for next time? Will I need Discord? Because Discord is blocked on my network.
