Re: How gay is RPC?
Maybe! They sound rather similar so that wouldn’t be a huge stretch.

Re: How gay is RPC?
I guess so!
Tbh since I was a child I was more Tom boyish then most girls. Sure I still liked “girl” shows like MLP and such but I didn’t like wearing dresses, and would cry whenever I had to put one on. Literally melt down. Then when I was 12 I discovered I was trans, and it took me a while to come in terms with it. Now I’m happily living with it! I’m just not sure if I want to actually transition outside of top surgery…

I also still get them confused, honestlyGreengoop wrote: Fri Jun 06, 2025 4:33 pm I thought bisexual was identifying as both genders until only a few months ago! I still get it confused with pansexual![]()
I experienced something similar, too. I was, and even now i’m called “boyish” for some of my interests. I had a lot of gender dysphoria a few years ago, but i now that i look back, i think it was because i had internalised misogyny..EdgeRabbit wrote: Fri Jun 06, 2025 4:40 pm Tbh since I was a child I was more Tom boyish then most girls. Obviously, not to say that trans masculine people and trans men are misogynists or whatever, this is just my own experience.
Still, i am happy that you feel better as a man

Thanks! I love being a man, even if others don’t see me as such. But who cares, they don’t like me for my marriage to Rayman either!

Re: How gay is RPC?
I'm curious, do people you know IRL know you're trans, or is it a private thing?
Oh yeah, I remember in primary school we read an extract in English class from a novel called "Bill's New Frock" which had a premise along those lines. That'd be an interesting world to live in!Greengoop wrote: Fri Jun 06, 2025 4:08 pm Actually funny story but when I was younger I didn’t know that becoming trans was something you did yourself, I feared that I could become a woman at any given time!![]()

Re: How gay is RPC?
My mom knows, along with my friends. But not really anyone else. But they do list my gender on my medical records as “agender” for.. some reason?PluMGMK wrote: Fri Jun 06, 2025 5:28 pm I'm curious, do people you know IRL know you're trans, or is it a private thing?

You can be listed as "agender" in Canada? That's pretty accommodating, I'm pretty sure here it's still just male and female…

Re: How gay is RPC?
Yeah! Cuz here they put gender and sex on different sections I think? I’m not entirely sure, and I’m still not sure why they put me as agender?

Yeah, that seems like a strange choice, as if they're hedging or something…

I think it’s cuz I said I didn’t mind being called by any pronoun.
Speaking of my fictosexualism, I have a weird polycule thing. I can send the chart to make this easier but I will let you all know there’s 3 different versions of Rayman on it!

It always brings joy to me when they say “other (please specify)” on websites when registering so I can put the randomest shit everPluMGMK wrote: Fri Jun 06, 2025 5:35 pm You can be listed as "agender" in Canada? That's pretty accommodating, I'm pretty sure here it's still just male and female…

I just put something different every time, I don’t consistently do something. Usually I say what I’ve been dared to.

I dunno, usually a friend or a guy sitting next to me just tells me to put some really weird shit, and I agree and immediately regret it!

Re: How gay is RPC?
I guess I feel pretty masculine mostly but I don't really feel like a man or a woman or anything else, I'm just me, myself and I. I'm definitely bisexual though. Overly masculine behavior definitely doesn't vibe with me though.

Re: How gay is RPC?
Well, we are a fairly small group of people, and it seems (see quote below) that straight and bisexual are the most common orientations, so statistically it's unremarkable that most or all of us are one of those two!
PluMGMK wrote: Sun Aug 22, 2021 2:12 am I was reading today about some survey (I think it was of college students) where about 75% said they were straight, 10% bi, and then 2~3% gay and another 2~3% ace. So perhaps the latter groups are somewhat overrepresented here – I'm sure there's a scientific explanation for that!

Re: How gay is RPC?
Historically we’ve been quite a gay community, so I’m not surprised that there’s still only 55% straight (actually more surprised since the majority are “str8”)
