Wrong!

You know I'm right, you just won't admit it.

What subject is that?Acarr wrote: Lol at this question.

Computing. I just found it funny how the "popular design" of a house is on its side. ^^

I want that house.

Hmm, what is it called when you transfer money from a card to a shop's bank account?

Just doesn't exist. The limit of 1/x as x tends to 0+ is +? though.spiraldoor wrote:What is One divided by Zero?

Don't you know that some processors would say -1?spiraldoor wrote:What is One divided by Zero?

Heh, this forum is full of nerds and geeks that know what's 2+2!
Nah, jk.
Nah, jk.
Re: The Math Help Topic
The answer is obviously infinity. Zero isn't a value and can't be multiplied or divided, so no figure will ever be given as an answer.
I think Hunchman demonstrated this in a complicated mathematical way.

Re: The Math Help Topic
How many Zeroes are there in One?
Re: The Math Help Topic
Supposedly infinity, because units of zero are uncountable.

Re: The Math Help Topic
Well, not really. 1/0 simply doesn't exist. You could say that 1/0+ = +∞ and 1/0- = -∞ (these are limits), but there's nothing you can say about 1/0.Xenon wrote:The answer is obviously infinity. Zero isn't a value and can't be multiplied or divided, so no figure will ever be given as an answer.

And zero actually is a number, it's the neutral element for addition and the absorbing element for multiplication.
Also, what I said wasn't really complicated, I studied it when I was 13 or 14.
Re: The Math Help Topic
Both infinity and zero aren't figures, so it's impossible to gain a value as an answer. The answer therefore must be infinity because values of zero are not accumulative. I think that's what you were saying, but if not, I have a fairly sturdy answer going on these facts.

Hasn't this been argued about before?
