And in part 1 of TSBTC, one saves you if you jump into the water.Henchman800 wrote:Oh, and if someone still doesn't know who are these Paluchard guys (lol, impossible) play the VERY FIRST level of The Fairy Council. Near the end of the level, there's a thing rising from the ground. And it's a Paluchard. And if you STILL don't know (do such idiots exist?), just look at the ''logo'' of The Bog of Murk. It's a Paluchard.

Re: Rayman himself
Does "Paluchard" have something to do with this?Polish: from paluch ‘thumb’ (augmentative of palec ‘finger’), hence a nickname used to denote a small person or a dwarf, or possibly a descriptive nickname for someone with a deformed or missing thumb.

I guess that may be where the name derived from.

It's indeed true that paluch means finger. But... Well, this is a coincidence in my opinion.

But the monsters are whale-like beasts with a hand as their head. They grab you with their head, which is a hand with eyes on it. I think?

In French, « paluche » is an old slang term for the word “hand”. Hence the name of the creature.

What kind of person registers on a small French forum about an old French videogame with the name "Semen", then makes a single post telling us that "paluch" is Polish for "finger"?Henchman800 wrote:''Freak''? But he said teh true

B2T, would you like to see a 3D game when Rayman can split? (Level with only hands, only shoes, etc.)
