Re: Rayman 1
But I doubt that can edit RO.
Re: Rayman 1
Yes, but only the tool itself. No one has talked about a level editor with it.

Re: Rayman 1
You could make your games in similar (or not) style with it.
Re: Rayman 1
I want to try it out as soon it gets available for public download.

Re: Rayman 1
I actually wonder how does it work. It would be great replacement of Flash animations as it could animate more interesting images.
Re: Rayman 1
I hope the user interface is much more friendly than most paid animation programs out there.

Re: Rayman 1
I think it will take you roughly 2 minutes to describe a part between two constant part of pictur (joint?) after you get used too. I have no idea whether it is too slow.

Re: Rayman 1
As I understand it the program is a way to get media to the game. Maybe you can even MAKE games with that program!

Re: Rayman 1
Yes, this is program for actually making games, more specifically for animation of drawn stuff.
Re: Rayman 1
Hey guys, I noticed that my cousin that lives next door has Rayman 1 for PSX, and, as sad that is, my only version of Rayman is Advance for GBA, so I figured it would be smart to trade with him for some PS2 game I don't like. Should I trade with him? What do you think, guys, would you rate the PSX version as a great one?

Re: Rayman 1
It’s the best version you’re likely to play. The Saturn version may be superior overall, but not many people have that console, and the game itself is even rarer.
Re: Rayman 1
Hmm, thanks Spiral! I trust you because anything you say is always true so I don't see how this would be different here
Tomorrow I'm going to do the trade, then. (and I don't have Saturn frankly)

A perfectly working copy of the Saturn version is even rarer even, mine does work but one of the music tracks went poop after I recorded my footage.
Speaking of the Saturn version, look what happens when I try to run it in the latest build of SSF...

Ah, if it was really fully playable...Cairnie wrote:A perfectly working copy of the Saturn version is even rarer even, mine does work but one of the music tracks went poop after I recorded my footage.

As Spiral said, I also recomend the PlayStation 1 version. The Saturn version is also pretty nice, but it has got the rarity problem.

Mr. Dark is really my favorite character in R1
It's stupid that you can't fight against him but only against the mixed bosses

Yeah I thought so too! I was all like "Allright, evil Moksito Sax hybrid thingy beaten... now here comes the big guy-- what, the game is over?!"Mr. Dark Thingamajig wrote:Mr. Dark is really my favorite character in R1

However, I also have the Game Boy Colour version - and there you do fight against Mr. Dark. I found the Colour edition a really fun one, as it combines music from Rayman 2 with addictive new levels not found in the original Rayman, as well as new areas, but also has all the cool parts like Mr. Dark and Bad Rayman. Definately a recommend if you've got a GBC.
