Today we are announcing our intent to phase out non-secure HTTP. There's pretty broad agreement that HTTPS is the way forward for the web. In recent months, there have been ...blog.mozilla.org

While I don't think I've ever used these specific models, my overall experience with lower-end Apple, Sony, and Sennheiser earbuds has been less than stellar. The EarPods in particular are horribly mediocre, and certainly not in the same league as the other ones you mentioned. (The higher-end ones would be, though.)Imco said:Do any of you have experience with these products? Especially the Sony and Sennheiser? Or some advice perhaps on which ones not to buy.
I did read some reviews and currently I'm on the verge of buying the Sony ones.
Ah, damn. If that's the case, I've heard the Shure SE series and B&W C5s are pretty good, but I haven't tried them out personally. Out of the ones you've mentioned, though, the Sony ones seem to be the best, though the other Apple model (the ear canal one) might be a more solid option.Imco said:Mmm, the Klipsch are a bit out of my prize zone, since they aren't locally available and I'd have to import them.
Well, brand loyalty is something that often prevents you from getting the best product rather than actually serving any constructive purpose.Imco said:Also, I'm a bit reluctant, since I don't know the brand Klipsch to be completely fair.
Just for note, I added a section to my post which included what looked like the best of the ones you mentioned, as well as the premium Apple model which is the same price and almost certainly available.Imco said:haha, the B&Ws are even priced worse and the Shures are currently unavailable or out of my price league, to be honest.
I do appreciate your comments though, at least I know which not to buy haha
Yes, certainly. On the other hand, I don't think I should even get extremely high end earplugs. I've got my Sennheiser Headphones for that, these earplugs are just meant for whenever I leave the houseShrooblord said:With audio I'm never too afraid of making a somewhat large investment. If the stuff's higher quality, it's gonna bring me more joy every time I use it and also it'll probably last me longer to boot.
But it's a hard world - if you're not careful, you can jump from 'cheapskate and affordable' to 'excellent but as expensive as a house'.
