Gender?
I noticed that the gender was changed from female to male. Is there any evidence supporting either claim? --

- The French and Spanish wikis have it listed as female, though I'm not sure what the arguments are in favor of one or the other. —

- Carnivora (formerly Daisy) is considered as a female since the creation of the French page (not by me).
- If I remember correctly the discussion on the French wiki about the Four Kings, that's because Carnivora is a flower, and "Carnivora" sounds like a girl name (and "Daisy" is a girl name).
- But is that enough?
- It's possible that there are queens among the Four Kings. For reminder, the Mocking Bird is a female. But we have a good argument for this boss, since she lays eggs. --Boomboleros7 00:16, 19 March 2020 (CET)
- In the absence of any further clues, I think it might be best to list her gender as 'unknown' on all wikis. —

- I changed it to female for now since the French side claims this, and it's more likely considering "Daisy" as mentioned above. However, if this seems incorrect, we can change the gender to unknown, and I can change all corresponding mentions of it to gender neutral ones. It's worth noting that Poor Little Daisy said both him and her, so the article contradicted itself anyway. --

Names
It's not obvious to me that "daisy" and "giant plant" should be listed as alternate names. While they obviously refer to Carnivora, they are used in a descriptive manner (yes, Carnivora is a daisy and a giant plant) but do not necessarily imply that they are the creature's name. In fact, "daisy" is just a species name and "giant plant" an even broader categorization. It's a bit like saying that Globox's alternate name is Frog because he is at some point referred to as a frog. What do you guys think? —![]()

- The main reason that these names were put here is because other characters use this same criteria for their names (though they are mostly less ambiguous); for example, the Mocking Bird’s name is taken from its boss level, and the Boss Bird’s name was taken from a Jungle Run wallpaper (which isn’t the best place to get names from, since it turns out that Carnivora was actually called the Boss Plant in its wallpaper, which is about as generic as they come). Granted, they don’t have any other sources for their names, aside from the game files, so it’s passable for them. Anyway, I’m fine with the “alternate names” being removed, but maybe the “Boss Plant” part could go in the Jungle Run section as a “where it is referred to as…” mention? -RayGamer99
- You make a good point, and indeed, I wouldn't really consider that "Mocking Bird" is an official name for the character, but rather an inferred name based on the little official material we have. If that boss did have a more official name such as something explicitly referring to it in an image gallery, we probably wouldn't even be listing that name, but that's all we have at this point. As for Carnivora, I agree that "Boss Plant" should be listed, since it explicitly refers to it in the gallery. —
