Green Lum

Is it possible that the Green Lum is just a fictitious lum made by the game developers and isn't really a part of Rayman's world at all? --Shukaku 10:58, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

Anything is possible, but I don't think we should include bizarre metafictional theories in the wiki. —Spiraldoor 11:47, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
Spiral is right. It can be either real in the GOD, or not. But we don't know the truth about the Green Lum, so nothing can be done. --Haruka 12:16, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
Ok, I guess that's logical. -- Shukaku 13:31, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

Personal theory

I've finally come around to play Rayman 2 and it's been a fun time, but that also got me thinking about the role of the lums, and it made me realize the green ones are unmentioned at all. If I had to come up with a role for them, I think it'd make sense for them to be like an inverse of will o' wisps of sorts. While these wisps lure people away from their path and get them lost, the green lums could have the purpose of guiding lost souls back to their path. People who "stumbled along the way" when it was still not meant to be their time to depart. I think it wouldn't be a bad way to explain the checkpoint system 😅 --Mike14264 (talk) 20:17, 8 September 2025 (UTC)
